What is the coolest magic system or power system you've seen in any form of fiction?

The Force is cool and all, but it is far from the coolest magic system, so what are some even cooler ones? Perhaps some that are obscure?

Dr. Manhattan’s transmogrification abilities in “The Watchmen” is about as dope as i’ve ever seen on the screen.
Some of the “Star Wars” novels have delved into “the force” in ways that no movie or show ever has. The Emperor hints at some of it in “Revenge of the Sith”. They’re doing themselves a disservice by not putting that shit in the screens.
Here’s an afterthought to consider: All of the best heroes and villains are above average in intelligence. How frightening would superhuman powers be if anyone could get them? Any idiot in the world can have the power to destroy en masse. Would we still glorify and envy these abilities? Think modern “gun control”, or the fictional “mutant registration act”.

Nen from Hunter X Hunter is one of the coolest, most extensive power systems out there.. But I also love Devil Fruits/Haki from One Piece, and even Cursed energy seems really interesting from Jujutsu Kaisen..

I love the allomancy, feruchemy and hemalurgy from Brandon Sandersons mistborn series. I also really like the way the 'magic'/pseudoscience or maybe even just the 'fictional science' from Dune.

I love elemental magic you see in a lot of fantasy video games. My favorite element is water.
One particular elemental magic system that is very underrated is Psynergy from Golden Sun. Nintendo needs to remake that masterpiece!

No worries, I won't say anything. I'll just tell you the filler is hard to get through, but if you power through or strategically skip all those episodes, it will ve WELL worth it. I agree on the power system too. Their is something nicr about magic that is seems to make no sense as for where it comes from (grimoires) but people just accept the mystery of it, and it keeps things simple and mysterious. On top of that, the art is its own kind of magic 😂 How that many gorgeous, voluptuous women inhabit the same place is pure sorcery haha

Gotcha. Well you should still watch some anime. Some of the new ones are better than most new American shows. My Hero Academia is pretty good. And then you have classics like Fulmetal Alchemist with fantastic female characters that aren't sexualized and tons of other great stuff.
