Perhaps because he's a private person. He's a well known actor, he probably appreciates people admiring his work but he doesn't want to make his private life public and also maybe he doesn't have time to respond to millions of fans, lol

Social media has lost all of it's value. There is no reason for most people to have a social media account because it does not offer anything useful thats not done better elsewhere.
