How would you feel if someone dedicated the song ‘you’re the devil in disguise’ by Elvis to you?

I’d obvi. look into the meaning, try to figure out why they chose it. Off the bat, I’d disown it, and know they were just being immature, and all up in their feelings, or clearly trying to “stick it to me.” (Hurt me).

I’m also a girl, so Elvis and devil kinda don’t apply, I guess I’d have to jokingly dedicate Bruno Mars’ song mentioning the devil to them.

Especially, if we weren’t all that serious. If someone I cared for, sent me that… just not possible. No one I care for would ever logically practically send that.

If they were genuine in that… I’d try to figure out what it was, and first apologize, and then try to be better onwards, avoiding any similar behaviors that may have made them feel that I was so “cruel.” In the future.

If I felt/thought it was ridiculous, I’d just move on.

I would think there was something wrong with him, and depending on the level of the relationship, I would either talk to him about why I feel it was inappropriate to dedicate a song which accused me of being evil! If it was just a date, as soon as I heard the dedication, and the song associated with the dedication, I would walk out! I have way too much self esteem to deal with petty minded people who do childish things like the public attempted shaming for whatever “sin” I supposedly committed!
