It's a good thing "art" is subjective!! I've attempted art on beach sand. Those sand blobs upon blobs could have been interpreted as lunar surface features, or 3 dimensional Rorschach tests, or perhaps the castle that I had intended. Oh well, I tried. It would have been nice to achieve my vision for it, but I'm not even mad about how spectacularly I failed! It was really fun seeing how it turned out. :)

When my kids were younger, we'd go to the beach and always make a sand castle, usually with a moat around it. Then, when finished, we'd take a picture of it and the kids would enjoy jumping on it to return it to nature.
