How to promote YouTube channel?

I have recently stated my youtube channel and i post shorts regarding fashion and makeup how can i promote my channel

You could say something useful that would make people want to refer you to other people cause word of mouth is excellent promotion. I know one YouTuber who gets promotions by having a recommended book list on his website that isn't paid for by sponsors and 100% useful - his viewers refer their friends to his recommended books website which contains his YouTube screen name and that attracts people to his website and paid per service subscription. Now you have free websites like blogspot that let you post content without charge if you allow them to advertise products on your page without your discriminating permission or feedback, if you are on a budget, using a free site like that can help until you have the money to pay for your own website.

I would say you should join every social media site under the sun, and list your channel on there.

Sharing it with with as many people possible is probably the best way. Also, try creating something more unique or special. There are a crazy amount of channels about makeup and jewelry and similar things already. You need to do something that makes your channel stand out from the rest. Don't expect to become popular fast. I have been posting since 2008 and have 5,000 subscribers. But I did not share my channel with friends. It just happened on its own.

As a suggestion you have to be consistent and produce good content. You can tell your friends about your work. Hope this helps.
