I generally don't even start watching a show until someone I know recommends it, and so I've avoided all of the last year's prominent dumpster fires. One that may surprise some people though is Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's actually pretty funny but not consistently so, and I lost interest in it after a few seasons. I also thought the Office is pretty badly overrated and couldn't get past season 3.
