Who is still interested in the MCU?

Is anyone here still interested in the MCU?

I've said many times that I'm pretty tired of the MCU. It was good at one point. I for one was never a firm Marvel devotee; I never read the comics or got into all the lore, but the earlier movies were for the most part really good. But now, after Endgame, it's just dragging on and on.

Are any of you still big MCU enthusiasts or are you done?

I was never a big MCU nor DC enthusiast to begin with. I’ve always liked select movies based on select characters or certain celebs who play them. Looking back at the marvel phases— PHASE 1: I liked the films Iron Man and Incredible Hulk despite wishing every decond that someone else played them. PHASE 2: I liked Iron Man 3 and Winter Soldier. PHASE THREE: I liked Civil War, Doctor Strange, Thor Ragnarok, Antman/Wasp, and Endgame. PHASE 4: I liked Shang Chi, Eternals, No Way Home, and Hawkeye. PHASE 5: I look forward to Ant Man 3, Thunderbolts, Blade, and Echo. PHASE SIX: Not sure if I look forward to another Fantastic Four but I’d like to see Nakia’s show. Everything that I did not name (except for MoonKnight) between Phase 1-4, i disliked/did not enjoy or do not care to see (especially Guardians films). Im certainly not psyched to see the majority of Marvel films.

Based on what i listed above. I enjoyed Phase 4 more than any other phase because for once Shang Chi, Eternals, No Way Home, and Hawkeye did not give the same vibes as other Marvel films. The other films (not including Incredible Hulk) were boring and took 3 attempts each before i finally finished the film. But phase 4 stuff was great the first time around (certainly not including horrible Black Widow/Doc Strange 2/Black Panther 2 which again felt like the usual boring marvel
Stuff).

I love the MCU but fuck me is it just meandering now. Phase 4 has way too much content and still no sense of direction. I'm following the major releases from characters I like, but I'm skipping the mini-series's and new characters unless the new character movies are really well received.

Yes.. even if bad I don't know I like learning of characters I don't even know. I still watch endgame unenthusiastic but I still wanted to because I want the story. Thor ragnorok I still watch. It does need a reboot. 10 years of feige is honestly enough. Once a new visionary get in there the hype will be back. And maybe black widow will be good this time around and other failed things.

never been into the superhero stuff in way, shape or form... so I never really followed or watched any of their last 100 movies... but, I am not tired of it and it doesn't bother me either, lol

I liked all the movies until Endgame. They just do not seem very serious anymore. The new Thor movie was a farce and I think Doctor Strange 2 was not very serious either. They need to go back to the comic books.

Honestly, for both Marvel and DC I like their animated movies more than almost all of their live action ones.

I saw the first Iron Man and a couple of those Baletmans. Not heavily invested in the MCU universe but still hoping for more Larson, more ScarJo. Comedy gold.
