Whether it's movies or TV shows, have you watched more animated (traditional or computer) or live-action media? Particularly when you were growing up?

Definitely live action. Looking at this list, animated films made between 1940-2002 were GREAT in my opinion. But 2003+ is where it gets spotty. I felt a lot of companies dropped the ball and gave less hits then were released. I’m not talking box office hits but films i personally liked.
Disney/Pixar is the what started going downhill for me. I prefer 2d over 3d so only a few of their 2003+ films were enjoyable— Cars 1, Incredibles 1 and 2, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Up, Ponyo (Ghibli), Big Hero 6, Good Dinosaur, Wreck It Ralph 2, and Raya. Everything else was horrible in my opinion. Aaand they’re about to make another Lion King and Toy Story like ew stop.
Blue Sky Studios did good with Robots but I wish they let the Ice Age films die. MGM and Lionsgate gave me nothing special 2003+ in terms of animation.
Warner Bros had a few hits in my opinion with Corpse Bride, Polar Express, TMNT, Happy Feet 1, and Batman the Killing Joke.
Dreamworks/Illumination/Paramount werent as bad around that time and stayed steady if not improved with Sinbad Legend of the Seven Seas, Shrek 2, Madagascar 1, Croods 1 and 2, Boss Baby 1 and 2, The Grinch, Sing, Over the Hedge, Shrek 3, Flushed Away, Beowulf, Madagascar 2, Adventures of TinTin, Rise of the Guardians, Dora, Sonic 1/2, and Clifford.
Columbia/Sony also remained steady with Surfs Up, Open Season, Monster House, Cloudy With a Chance 1/2, Hotel Transylvania 1/2, Red Turtle, and Into the Spiderverse.
Laika gave me Kubo. Cartoon Saloon thankfully gave me The Breadwinner, Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea, and I honestly see that studio improving as well. So really Disney/Pixar is just my main complaint as to why I’d prefer live action films (from anyone but Disney) over animated films

My main reason for live action films is mainly because of the celeb hotties. I can't say “its more realistic” because so many of the storylines have horrible cgi and unrealistic plotholes. But the cute faces keep me watching. Prince Eric, Aladdin, and Flynn are cute but they don’t hold a candle to the “real” hotties. Aside from that, I get more joy from live action films made between 1990/2010... (Well of course and the musicals and Roger Moore Bond films before then as well as Die Hard, Twins, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Commando, Rocky IV, and Honey I Shrunk the Kids). I’ll keep it short and won't go into full detail but liveaction films have fallen off as well.
I watch both animated and live action stuff but lately I think I've been watching more animated things
