Are dark skinned black women as marketable as other races of women in video game/movie?

Honest question. I see so many guys calling black women ugly and i can't think of a single non franchise game/movie with dark black female lead that was successful

When was the last time a good game that even had a solid lead character came out? Almost all leads that aren't from established franchises are either soulless husks with player-determined appearance, or they're incredibly insufferable characters that everyone hates, usually with dialogue that sounds like it was written by a basement-dwelling goblin. Furthermore, the stories suck. There's a lot of contributing factors to this trend, but until that gets addressed, there's a 0% chance of what you're looking for ever happening.
