We usually work 8 hours too, not counting lunch breaks, but my job is 10 hours but less days, so it works out to the same

@KostasKouvalis How many hours do you work a week? In France we work 35 hours per weeks. In France we work 8 hours when we finish early the Friday (like we leave at 12 pm instead of 4 pm).

That's cool. If you leave early here, you'll make less money. Though some of my co-workers claim if you only show up for 5 minutes, they have to pay you for at least 4 hours, but I don't buy that, because people would be doing it all the time, and no employer would do that.

40 hours in the US to be considered "full time". Currently I'm only doing 30.

@KostasKouvalis Yes, that would false. Here it's not leaving early it's just that usually in administration people only work in the morning and is it close on Friday afternoon.

honestly 30 hours is still a lot, can't imagine doing 40 hours, no free time.

Ah! Honestly, when you have no social life it's often too short😂 But I'd rather be doing nothing making money, then doing nothing NOT making money. It's slow right now so it's not much different then sitting at home, but once April hits I'm really gonna start to feel it. I won't mind if they move me up to 40 hours, but i hope they at least keep my weekends free, 'cuz I wanna go to the coast and to Oregon when it gets warmer

I found this beautiful Tibetan temple and Russian churches that I want to visit. As well as some historic homes and pretty towns. But the main reason is because I read an article about a lake there that has an underwater forest and the water is so clear that people scuba dive there.

Here too. It's been a harsh winter. We got snow where I live, even, which we never do. I actually got excited about it. I wouldn't wanna live in a winter climate, but since it's so rare here, it was actually nice to get some and experience a true winter. I honestly wouldn't mind getting it here more often.

In California, people wear summer clothes in cold weather. Not everyone, but it's not uncommon😂
