What do you think about adult-themed cartoons?

I used to watch a lot of the stuff on Adult Swim in the year or two after I graduated from college. And don't get me wrong, I still occasionally watch The Simpsons and Futurama, but a lot of the other adult-themed cartoons seem really immature and dumb.

What do you think about them?

I only know archer and Futurama from that list you provided. I used to watch it a lot and the last episode I saw was from that season where Archer was in a coma. The show got boring after that and their constant fighting/yelling gets annoying after a while too.

I love anime so I'm probably the last person to ask, 😆 but I watch family guy and American dad. Family guy has humor that can sometimes be really stupid. The same with American dad. Sometimes its too stupid where it's hard to watch but I watch it anyway because there is nothing else on TV. I used to watch all those old cartoons on adult swim back in the day. Like home movies, aqua teen hunger force, and many others. I didn't really watch the Simpsons growing up but I remember I played that one game they had on the PS2 lol it was like a GTA Simpsons version. It was really fun.

I don't mind them but it depends on the show and if I find it funny. Some shows can be good and other shows are just straight cringe.

I did watch that one adult cartoon on Netflix called F is for family. It was honestly a last resort for me because I was extremely bored. But I liked certain parts in the show and I would skip other parts so I blew through the it pretty fast.

I like sci-fi; which cartoons make these types of shows more affordable. If you look at Futurama and Red Dwarf you can see the difference of two space based comedies. With Red Dwarf being live action the effects were really low budget, the cast was sparse; and the stories didn't have a lot of cut scenes. Whereas Futurama, had a plethora of characters and even guest stars, the effects were more believable (even though they were drawings), and the stories could and did have plenty of flash backs and dream sequences.

I like Rick and morty and I grew up watching Southpark and family guy.

Making TV is pretty expensive so the fact more ideas can be brought to screen makes me happy. There's obviously a lot more you can do with a cartoon than regular TV also so it can keep things inyeresting

Really not a fan. Harley Quinn was decent the first season and Boondocks has its moments but I don't know all the cursing really just ruins cartoons or any films in general for me. They need to learn to make it funny without being so vulgar

I enjoy a lot of them.. My job, while not physically demanding, is incredibly intellectually demanding, so when I get home, I tend to prefer to watch things that allow me to turn the brain off if you get my meaning.
