My mom is obsessed with Charles Ingalls. For me its Cliff Huxtable, Tony, Jesse (as best uncle/dad), Ray, Leo, and Gavin

I remember when the dad from Sister Sister was on WKRP in Cincinnati
I didn't see that show but that you for mho :)
Watch it, it's a great classic comedy
Ben Harper from My Family.
4 touchdowns... IN ONE GAME 💪
Ben Cartwright
That surprised me coming from someone that's in their 20s
I love old television shows and movies. I am in the process of watching Hogan's Heroes on Freevee right now. Hilarious without being risque.
Hogan is on Every weekday at 9pm central time on MeTV
You might also like the TV show Our Miss Brooks
Eve Arden who played Miss Brooks was also the high principal in the movies Greese and Greese 2

Great question... I had to think about this one. I guess my favorite Dad would be Tim Taylor (played by Tim Allen) on "Home Improvement". My favorite Mom would be his wife, Jill (played by Patricia Richardson). They were a great couple, and very good parents for their three sons.
Maybe Andy Taylor/Griffith. Great actor, and a fun but fatherly feeling character on his tv show.
Tim Allen was very funny in Home Improvement. (and everything else. lol) However tv dads that focus that much on humor have less of a fatherly feel than ones like Andy Taylor.
Al Bundy! Primarily because he was NOT Politically Correct and to be honest was a bit irreverent. In my 65 years, I have ALWAYS been more comfortable being around people who are brutally honest than being around some pansy that's scared shitless to say what is on their mind! Or somebody that won't take a position until they have wet their finger and stuck it in the air to see what direction the political winds come from!
Al Bundy.

True all American hero.
Homer Simpson

It's a tie between Charles Ingals and Dr. Huxtable.
Ward Cleaver (Hugh Beaumont)
@humanearth I was just thinking about Herman Munster … Yeah, he was one great Father to Edward Munster.
Archy Bunkers from All in My Family
Al Bundy from Married w Children uncle Phil f. Fresh Prince and Hank Hill
Either Bob Duncan from Good Luck Charlie or Jerry from Wizards of Waverly Place
John Dutton
Phil Banks
Kevin Cosme
Enteng Kabisote
Al Bundy
Uh Brady bunch? I'd take the unrealistically always happy dad and hope it wears off on me
Tim the Tool Man Taylor and Mike Baxter
Both good choices
Archie bunkers. All in the family
Al Bundy from Married with Children 😊
Richard Watrson! 🥰
DEFINITELY Herman Munster!
Bill Cosby. He mixes the best drinks
Hank Hill from King of the Hill
Randy Marsh
Homer Simpson
