Which genre is better hip hop or r&b?

I'm not thaaaat into this main branch of music, and I'm saying all the twigs is one thing, like one twig is rap, one twig is hip hop in this large branch.

How ever when ever i do listed to something on this Branch it's usually hip hop, it has more to say, it's more intelligent often. It's more Talent. It's more melody.

There is so smooth, jazz like "hip hop" to out there.

Rock type of versjon. But rap and most of the subcategories of rap, nope not a fan. Especially "wisper rap" man that's shit music. If any rap then old school rap.

I prefer old school rap, from the 90's/early 2000's, but also love the blues from the 40's to 60's.

Nothing like sitting in the living room with some vinyl running Dinah Washington, Ray Charles, or Muddy Waters (love, I'm a Man).

I listen to different music genres and i know some R&B songs from the 40s and 70s and i prefer those songs than the R&B of today. About Hip Hop sometimes i listen some instrumental HH
