Most popular music now is manufactured; "artist" has little musical talent and is just a mask for manufactured music made by others.
For instance, The Monkees were like that. They were a manufactured rip-off of The Beatles.
Their songs were still good, don't get me wrong. They didn't write them though - not the hits anyway.
