Well in the UK we don't have x-rated movies anymore. They scrapped the x-rating because it became associated with old men in dirty raincoats. It was replaced by the 18 certificate which is still pretty tame. US movies are usually cut before they can get a rating in the UK.
I'm pretty tolerant but I think there are probably some movies out there that shouldn't be on general release, but I wouldn't watch those movies anyway. Probably the most disgusting movie I saw was Hostel 2, although at the end of the day it wasn't even that graphic. I just felt grubby after watching it.

Some of them should be banned. Some are so disgusting, it makes you wonder how they can film them without cringing. And I'm into a lot of freaky stuff and still get grossed out!
Especially ones with animals and grannies! Yuck!

Why should they be banned? Well it all depends on exactly what it's in the movie i would say. But for the most part i would say no they should not be banned. But have warning in the beginning and help lines at the end.
