Tough, but I think this one I found in my dad's stack of old vinyl when I was 15 because it really altered my approach to playing.

The Moody Blues-Days of future passed.
Orchestra, then rock, rock, then orchestra. The whole album is a story about a single day. I wish they made more albums like this!
Before my time, a lot of the best music is.

6 Evening: The Sun Set/Twilight Time
7 The Night: Nights in White SatinThat's a tough question. There were bands like the Moody Blues, Cream (The Best of Cream and Wheels of Fire), early Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath, Machine Head by Deep Purple and, of course, Axis Bold as Love and Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix.

But I'll pick Benefit by Jethro Tull. When I was 16 in 1970 and first heard that, it was so unique that it truly did change my life. Interesting vocals and killer instrumentation. The song Play in Time is the most psychedelic things I've ever heard.- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwFloCPXzCs

Does live concerts count? In that case, mine's this one:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/HriYRoxWo1IBlink-182's Enema of the State was kind of the anthem of my last years of high school. There are almost no weak songs on that album.
... And Justice for All by Metallica. It's the first metal album I ever bought back in the late 80s and I've been a dyed-in-the-wool metaller ever since and never looked back.
None at all. Some are nice to listen to, but that is not life-changing.
