Here are some behind the scenes of recent video of a OceanGate Titanic Submersible Mission, wha your thoughts on this video showing the process?

This is from one of my favorite Diving youtuber channels, thankfully he wasn't onboard Mission 5, He was on Misson 3, just weeks before the tragedy. This video shows the behind of the scenes as well as video onboard the very same submersible that went missing, shows how the crew operates. After watching the video, what do you think about it all?

Also wanted to clear up one thing, the YouTuber in the video was invited for this trip and did not pay he had stated this in his social media as well as his comment section, he was invited to film, he himself is a professional diver and recovery specialist.

It's so small and strange. It seems extremely uncomfortable. I still can't believe this happened and I'm sorry for them and their families. Like James Cameron said, their deaths could have been avoided.

I read that the 19 year old boy didn't want to go, he was terrified. Perhaps he was feeling that something would go wrong.

This YouTuber was extremely lucky.

Very avoidable but cursed by the same mindset arrogance and egoistical just like the titanic captain. Stockton Rush wanted be different, and that difference could have been avoided. He was overly proud of his own work that he believed he was invincible in a way. And that was his own demise.

It took a lot of courage for the son to go on that submersible trip, it took a lot of strength to instead of disappointing his father he’d rather risk his life to spend time with his father.

The YouTube video will definitely shed light to future investigators as well as families for possible lawsuits. And the YouTuber is extremely lucky, both mission 3 and 4 were canceled, mission 5 imploded. Very sad.

That's also what I read. That a former employee warned him several times but he didn't believe in him. He was too confident. You're right, it's a difference that could have been avoided. It was too risky.

Yes it did. He was scared but he went anyways. Now his mother is suffering, pain that will never go away.

True, it might help. But I doubt there will be any lawsuit. They signed up a consent form and the person who was responsible for them died too. There's nothing the company can do.
He is, he's probably grateful to be alive.

Waiver means nothing in this situation. He wasn’t certified nor was he allowed to have people onboard, they have a big case.

True it doesn't. But it was a sign that they shouldn't go there. Yes they do, but I think it won't have a resolution.

They were renowned explorers besides the son, they all had titles and ranks amongst themselves, that’s what people do when they’re explorers and wealthy and have the capability to do it, hence why the majority of them are older men, once you get a certain age with that kinda wealth, it’s a bucket list kind of thing I imagine, they knew the risks. Still sad but we can all agree they knew what could happen.

That's also true. They had experience with this type of trip. I guess they thought that nothing would happen.
Yes, it's probably another goal on their list. It is sad, one of the worst things I've ever heard. I can't stop thinking about it. It's hurting my well-being to be honest.

Sorry to hear that and I think a lot of us are just curious on how and why this could have happened. The carelessness of the Owner of the company to lack of safety in not only the engineering of the submersible but their protocols. I hate really odd to is Stockton Rush’s (the CEO) wife is a long living descendant related to a couple that died on the titanic… makes you wonder..

Very strange, makes me think about reincarnation too, Though I’m not a solid believer on that but there’s gotta be a reason Stockton was so infatuated with the titanic.. why was he so drawn to it that’d he risk his life. The whole story of this seems off to me. Yeah same, although I’m always doing research on tragedy’s for some reason. Guess it’s the mystery, but it can be to muck at times.

I know right? That's what I thought too. I'm not sure if I believe in reincarnation either. But it's weird to think that Stockton and Titanic's capitan had the same behavior and mindset.
I agree with you, the fact that he was so infatuated with it makes you think. And yes, there must be a reason.
Me too. Like I've said before it doesn't sound like a coincidence.

I watch some of it. It seems exciting people to go do it if you can afford to, but it’s more risky than any other type of adventure because of the the depth that you’re going down to., probably a lot less riskier than going in a spaceship

Right also forgot to include the YouTuber in the video was invited to film, he did not pay, he stated it in his social media, not that it really matters but I think people could have been invited on other past missions as well for free.

It’s interesting that even he was nervous to board the submarine, and he’s a diver that does recovery which is extremely difficult and dangerous. And for him to be nervous like that shows he may have been a bit sketched out. It’s insane to think that he was Mission 3, which was supposed to go visit the titanic but got canceled, so did mission 4, and mission 5 went down and never came back. He’s extremely lucky.

The majority of people onboard that died were adventure seekers and people that had titles already for records, they had the money to do it and signed waivers, although this video gives the families and investors evidence of faulty work on that submersible, it gives hints that this thing was clearly unstable weeks and days before it went down.

Oh I meant that it’s probably more dangerous going that deep into the ocean where the pressure is 400 times greater than sea level than going into space since the cabin is only pressurized to 14 pounds per square inch, less chance of that rupturing than all the pressure from the ocean. The YouTuber is lucky it didn’t malfunction when he went, no chance surviving that, hopefully it was so quick that they didn’t suffer

Oh I know what you meant, also that death would have happened within 1/30,000th of a second, you’re looking at nano seconds, if there is such thing as a next life, they wouldn’t even know they’re there, completely painless but basically what happens is the crushing forces of the pressure crushed the carbon fiber hull (the hull probably instead of folding like a can would, it shredded, and then it heats up as hot as the sun, they would have been liquified and vaporized in nano seconds. That’s the reality, our brains couldn’t understand or process what was happening in that moment. Although James Cameron did say in an interview that the sun had sensors and warning system in the hull that would warn of cracking, so they may have been in fear before it happened, I’ll be doing another MyTake on the more technical issues with the submersible later on as more info is public.

I didn’t know about the heat part or that they used carbon fiber which is not strong enough to me for those pressures so I guess they never knew what happened. So I doubt they will be bringing their bodies back up

If you look up carbon fiber cars that get destroyed it’s looks like paper that’s been torn. They’re bodies don’t exist so no.

So it was a quick death, and there’s not much of their bodies to really identify, they probably won’t even see that on the news

You’re not getting it, there was nothing left of them, they simply vanished. Never to be seen again, even if they had the technology to bring them back up if their bodies were intact which is scientifically impossible it wouldn’t be possible, it’s the same reason their are deceased people on mountain Everest it’s too high, and with the titanic it’s to deep.

Well, they can’t be simply vanished even the people on the titanic their bones are still down there, but obviously the sea life would be eating them that exist down that far.

I don’t think you understand what kind of death they faced, the titanic sank it didn’t implode under insane amounts of pressure, the submersible was pressurized.

That vessel is ugly and the owner was a cheap bastard who decided to cut tii many corners. I feel sorry for the son, who didn't want to go, but chose to please his father instead.

I do believe he had good intentions but as many say his ego and arrogance got the best of him, his similarities in the titanics captain is nearly the same. He did put peoples lives on the line for not being certified nor did he listen as you said to professionals on what to use in the hull, he wanted to be different than everyone else, and that’s what caught up to him. I feel bad for everyone involved because their still human beings, whether their wealthy or not, and the billionaire onboard was a philanthropist that donated hundreds of millions to the less fortunate as well as scientific companies that are changing the world for the better. He wasn’t just giving money either he was always visiting less fortunate countries, he built towns in Africa for the poor.. guy was a good guy, but he’s automatically judged because he’s wealthy. And yes the son situation is sad as well, he’d rather risk his life than disappoint his father. That was a strong thing to do.
