Do you think the crew in the lost submersible joined the lost spirits of the titanic?

They imploded. Hopefully immediately and before they ran out of oxygen. Implosion would’ve been instant so they’d have died immediately, terrified but immediate. Suffocation then implosion would’ve been worse. Would be nice if they could locate the bodies but with the amount of scavengers in the ocean body recovery is highly unlikely.


The loss of life is tragic but they had to sign wavers saying they could die. The submersible itsself was poorly designed and looks like they cut corners at every turn (the exact opposite of John Hammonds ‘spared no expense’) the glass rated for I think 1300ft while the titanic is at least 12000ft down. And it was controlled with a video game controller that’s just a recipe for disaster.

I'm not one to complain about what rich people spend their money on and I won't go so far as to call it karma and I'm not into spirits and afterlife and religion and such but something about treating the Titanic wreckage as a tourist attraction rubs me the wrong way.

I think they likely perished not long after they submerged, and Titanic claimed a few more lives.
