Which of the following should I start reading next?

I have decided to delve very deep into some of these series, and I have a specific reading order I am taking.

It will either be

1. Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere, where I will begin with Mistborn: The Final Empire

2. The Expanse series, which will begin with Leviathan Wakes

3. The Dune series, where I will read in chronological order (having already read the original Dune novels a couple years ago) with the Brian Herbert Legends of Dune Trilogy, this is a prequel to Frank Herberts novels. I will read these all chronologically

or

4. In preparation for the Ahsoka series coming this August, I will read all of Timothy Zahn's works on the character Thrawn.

Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson

Expanse series by James S. A. Corey

Thrawn series by Timothy Zahn

Dune series by Frank Herbert, Brian Herbert, and Kevin J Anderson

All of Sanderson I've read I quite like, but that's just the Stormlight Archive- quite enjoyable, though, and if his other work is of similar quality, you're in for a good time.

Even so: I'd say Thrawn- it's a textbook example of how to write an intimidating villain, and a terrifying story of what Palpatine could've been if he were more competent- but if you're waiting for more of Disney's stuff, you're bound to just be disappointed in comparison. The writers they have now simply can't equal Zahn, and even if they brought him in (and he could write TV as well as he does books; I obviously don't know firsthand, but I imagine it's pretty different), it'd fall short, since Kennedy's a monster, and firmly in charge.

The Expanse I'm not familiar with, and Dune takes a pretty sharp dip after Frank died.

Mistborne is still my favorite book series ever so I highly recommend them.

The dune books are great but I didn't like them after the 6th book. I reread the first 6 a few times but the ones after get weird in the not so good sense.

Expense is good I was told but I didn't get to them yet. The same with Thrawn which I heard great things about. I think my husband did read them I can ask him.

I own all of the books of each series, including the expanded materials. Just needed to decide which one to begin, because I will stick with it until I get up to date with everything.
