I was lead guitar and vocalist in rock bands when I was younger.
In my 50s, some friends of my wife and mine began having karaoke parties at their house a few times a year. They had hundreds of songs but a lot of them were oldies. I started clowning around with some crooner songs and discovered that I was really good at them because I also have a baritone voice.
