How come The Exorcist franchise, the Paranormal Activity franchise, and The Conjuring franchise are popular in the USA even though most Americans are not hardcore Christians and are just liberated peoples who are into casual flings, playing video games, doing drugs, partying, and watching NFL games?

I don't know to be honest, but I'll take a stab at it.

I flick on Prime, NetFlix, and so on and it's either really retarded stuff to watch or it's some form of Horror. Since I moved back to the USA, I find myself resorting to true crime and watching people debate things on youtube... other than that, some science/nature/documentary-type stuff.

So here is my big take... all the new mainstream stuff is fucking cheesy and woke. If I find that really insufferable to watch then I imagine others do too. I mean how many of these stupid superhero movies, and 80s/90s nostalgia re-hashed bullshit flicks where they just replace the genders and race, and have shitty writing is actually enjoyable to normal people? So in conclusion, I think these scary movies are all that's left that isn't really getting ultra-molested by Hollywood's woke agenda, and that's why so many people turn to it here.

That's my big take on it. ... I'd also add that over 50% of the country are not these woke ultra-liberal retards that sit around thinking about trans rights and black people all day. That's the mainstream media though, that was Twitter before Elon. The pendulum is just now starting to swing in the other direction. It seems like we have so many SJW retards because that's all you're mainly going to see through our current media.

The only thing I do on that list is play video games as a hobby.

Sports are boring. How hitting, kicking, and throwing balls around is fun I will never understand.

Never did drugs. I don't dare want to tear my family apart.

Casual flings? I'm too ugly for that.

Partying? Only parties I went to was at my best friend's house, and it included her family. Little cousins, brothers, sister, Stepdad, and Mom. I never been to a club due to social anxiety. I don't like loud noises, crowded places, and the fear of being shot up. What I find as a good time is going to historical sites with my sister.

No, I don't believe in God for reasons that'll take too long to explain.

As for those movies? Literally the only one I seen was the first Conjuring movie, that's it.
