Why did my coworkers laugh when I asked them if they are going to see Barbie?

Today,

I was out to fix my visa things, because If I can’t fit in time, I’ll have to leave China before my new visa is issued.

So, I was out and went back a bit late, they were happy to see me, then they started talking about movies, and they were saying

“Yeah, we are definitely gonna see it”,

I only know one new movie “Barbie” so I asked if they meant Barbie, and they laughed and say “Nope, but you are adorable”.
