Girls, which role should my daughter play & which role should my boy play in this Local Theatre show?

Helping to arrange a Local Community Theatre for a women's group. Its a Whodunnit Mystery. Confused about two of my kid's roles in the play. Ofcourse there are other kids, but the writer and Drama Teacher asked which role should my son (15) and daughter (16) play in the mystery. She wants one of them to be the murdered victim LOL which is hilarious.
But just wondering, if it should be my boy or girl to play that role?
Personally, I am confused but I also agree girls should play powerful meaningful roles.
I would love your Hilarious Suggestions please.

My boy can play the part of the dead victim as its best to represent women's roles in a ore positive and powerful/leading light

My daughter can play the part of the dead victim if she can come back alive as another character?
