I love Amy Lee's voice. Between her and a young Ann Wilson, my fantasies run wild! But I also get chills from this song. I think it's a combination of voice, words and a deeply personal meaning.
It would be easy to post Clare Tory's original version of "The Great Gig In The Sky", but we've all heard that a thousand times. One should never forget the Clare's original version was 100% improvisation!! They hired her and said - "just do your thing".
But how about the 3 ladies who travelled with Pink Floyd for the Delicate Sound of Thunder Tour - Rachel Fury, Durga McBroom, Machan Taylor. They are all amazing.
Lots of chills
