I'm not a fan of her music. To me, it's the usual bubblegum nonsense that I'm not in to. As for her personality, back when she started I understood she wrote a long of songs as direct messages to her exes, which I thought was juvenile. Then I realized--she actually was juvenile. She was just a teen back then.
As of late, I am aware of her charitable acts, so that changes things a bit for me. I still don't care for her music, but as a celebrity, she's a cut above. More famous people should take a page out of her book to be as generous as she's been.

I'm going to get so much hate for this, but I have never understood all the hype about her. Her music is very subpar and sounds like something that would play in a pre-teen clothing store.
