I think a lot of people who deny that she is beautiful say that partly because of her very rapid success, and partly because they just don't like her music. I can understand the point of view of people who think her talent and music are lightweight. I actually like some of her songs though. I think "Red" is a cool pop song. (I never considered Taylor a country artist from the get-go. The country thing was just the strategy she used to make it.)

I met her in person when she came to my city for her fearless tour a few years ago. She's a really nice, personable girl IRL, and she doesn't act all crazy and mysterious/catty 24/7 like her media hypes her up to be.

Not sure if she's changed or something since stardom took hold though.

I hate her for making country main stream. People I knew a decade ago who crapped all over country now call themselves country girls/boys and listen to country all the time while saying it's their dream to own 100 acres of land all to themselves.

She is ballerina shaped - not what I would consider attractive, but great for wearing short skirts and pants... =) Her face is cute. She isn't unattractive = she is really cute, but not hot.

Take away the hair and makeup and you end up at average. Although, I worked as a photographer's assistant in NYC for a nice bit of time and we exclusively did testing for Elite models and 1/2 the women coming in, before hours of hair and makeup, were honestly not very attractive. Some however were stunning without any hair and makeup.
