Trip to Hollywood?

So I’m going to LA next month what are some fun things I can do near hollywood? The area I’m going in In Gardena. Any budget fun friendly places? Any cool places to eat or drink. Or good clubs/bars. Any gay clubs? Etc. I don’t wanna go to Disney land.

When I lived there, one of my favorite places to spend a day was the Huntington Library in San Marino, near Pasadena.
The art museum is amazing but the themed gardens are magical. Here's a link:

In Hollywood, you can see the Hollywood sign, check out the outside of Grauman's Chinese Theater, walk around on the Walk of Fame to look at the stars in the sidewalk and browse the shops along the way.

You should go to the famous "Original" Hollywood Farmer's Market for lunch one day.

You can stop by the La Brea Tar Pits.

China Town is cool, and so is Olvera Street in old El Pueblo de Los Angeles.

You could look at the Griffith Park Observatory and the Hollywood Bowl.

You can check out Rodeo Drive and Melrose Ave.

If you're staying in Gardena, you should check our some beach areas like Long Beach. Go to Point Fermin in San Pedro and drive the fairly short Palos Verdes Peninsula coastal road around to Redondo Beach.

Check out Venice Beach for sure. It's happening.

When I'm in town, I always try to make it to Versailles Cuban Restaurant

There's a super popular place called Pink's Hot Dogs that's known for its chili dogs

My wife loves a place called Tito's Tacos

Go to the Hollywood sign, look for your favourite stars on the Hollywood walk of fame and take selfies, get mugged etc.
