My first flight was from China to Japan cause we were flying over to Canada to join my dad who was studying there, and our plane stopped in Japan before landing in Canada. I remember they served purple cabbage on the airplane and I refused to eat it cause I had never had it before and I thought it was monster food. As a kid I was totally different from now, I would not try new foods, hated cheese which I now love, and hated things that weren't symmetrical like the dresses you sometimes see at Oscar events. I also did not respect people who talked to strangers thinking they should mind their own business.

My guess is San Francisco when I was a toddler. My uncle and his family lived in Sacramento and we went to visit them. In those days (like 1964), you'd fly from New York to SFO and then drive to Sacto.
