My last mini vacation was in August when my cousin and her family flew down from New York and we spent a week at a cottage in Hamilton together and ate amazing food. It was 2 trips to Mandarin Buffet, one trip to an Indian restaurant, one trip to a sushi buffet, one trip to a Mexican restaurant, one trip to a Chinese bbq restaurant and one trip to an Egyptian restaurant, which had amazing coffee.

We also visited a highly popular miniature zoo. We got the last parking spot available for guests so if we had been just a little later, we would not have been allowed inside the zoo.

I loved waking up at 5 in the morning to eat blueberry yogurt and catch a glimpse of the sunrise. Then having eggs for breakfast at Tim Hortons.

To Eureka and Arcata to tour the northern California coast and the Highway of the Redwoods. Stayed in a beautiful B&B, drove through some small towns and scenic areas we had never seen, and ate some great food.

I have not had a vacation since 2020. I have a summer house near the ocean. Maybe I will go up there this summer.
