So I got it published and what not but I'm just curious if the summary sounds alright any opinions
What would you do if you woke up on a dusty gravel road in the middle of nowhere?
For Silver, she had no idea on what to do next. With her jacked up shoulder and a huge storm brewing on the horizon, it seemed like the only thing she could do now was to keep walking.
With a stick dragging behind her to sweep her footsteps out of the sand, Silver kept walking and walking.
The guilt for leaving Jonah in the car to die kept eating at her. She didn’t mean to do it, but at the time, she’d rather save her life than his. In the end, she knew that it was the right decision. But even still, she was paying the ultimate price for it.
Until a blue truck flies past, leaving her in a cloud of dust.
Silver stared in disbelief for a second as the truck sped away. She sighed and continued on her way. There was no one to help her now.
But then… the blue pick up truck comes back around.
Logan couldn’t just leave the poor girl to walk along the countryside road. So he made the hasty decision to turn back and help her.
After all, there was no way for him to know what he was getting himself into.

This summary focuses entirely on a single scene, which is fine if that was your goal. If you're doing a summary to try and make it so that someone is enticed to read the book, you might want to make it a bit more succinct with a bit more detail. Give the most basic, like not even bare bones like scraps of bare bones, outline of the first half of the novel. Give us Silver's motivations, things like that.
Its not really a novel it's just a short story but thanks for the honest feedback and solutions to make it better
Oh, well if it's for a short story then why do you need a summary? Where are you publishing it that it requires a summary?
Oh it's published on Amazon it's like 39 pages on like the kendel thing
Oh yeah, if it's for a kindle thing then yeah, just bare, bare bones about what the story is. The baseline essence of the story as a summary
Jamm this must be like some revolutionary story that will give the American people something they’ve been craving because that is a long description like dog Jamm. I hope your book does good but if all that’s basically the entire thing summed up then you should probably make it shorter and keep some things as a surprise. This itself could be considered a short story like when a overpraised poem gets turned into a short film that ends up being taught in school.
