Mélenchon was once a man who defended secularism (secularism in France is different from secularism in the United States) but he changed his ways when he realized that defending the cause of "minorities", especially immigrants and Muslims, could win him votes in the neighborhoods. He's riding the "woke" wave.

But he'll have to choose between LGBT minorities or immigrants/Muslims, because Muslims won't tolerate LGBTs. 😂

Imagine that. I laugh at the Muslims who cry about Islamophobia and Xenophobia and then turn around and homophobically be openly hostile toward homosexuals. THEN, having the gumption make the claim that Christianity is no better where the Bible calls homosexuality a sin, which the act itself is, as if Islam and Christianity are somehow united on this front. The reality is modern Christianity doesn’t preach shunning them anymore. Having same sex feelings is not a sin, the act is. It doesn’t preclude anyone from following in the footsteps of Jesus and leading a virtuous life. It’s all about loving thy neighbor and forgiving their transgressions. They’re not passing laws outlawing it, they just don’t want to pass laws recognizing their unions or other controversial issue like adoption. They’re much more live and let live about it. Both of which are a far-cry from real homophobia coming from some in the Islamic community

He'll have to choose. He can't defend both as he does in the long term. The funniest thing is that there are LGBT people who are voting for Mélenchon. I feel like telling them "you know that this man supports people who surely want to either put you in prison or kill you" 🤣

But to be honest with you I'm not anti-immigration or Muslim. I know Muslims who are perfectly assimilated into the country and who practice their religion without a problem. Many of them still support their countries of origin, even if they've always lived in France. And some politicians, like the Turkish and Algerian presidents and others, use their diaspora as a means of exerting political pressure on European governments.

But uncontrolled immigration, which brings people onto its territory, people who have a different culture and history and who don "t want to assimilate, results in a catastrophe.

I am. The Quran is gutter trash. I'm not an Islamophobe because I listened to their opinions and read parts of that dumb text. That's why I don't shy from criticisizing them. It's built on catering to men. It's incompatible with Western values and feminism. Middle Easterners are also hypocritical with immigration just like Mexico is with the US. They'll let migrants through or gladly immigrate into Western nations and then turn around shun those sand migrants from their own nations. Mexico has a wall on their southern border to keep out "dirty Central Anericans". It's a farce.

I can understand tolerance in people and having empathy for others. But understand that it can become detrimental and a foot has to be placed down to tell them to shelter in place and fix their own problems that they often cause. Having large families and refusing to raise women up using them as breeding stock are two very good reasons to tell migrants to fuck off, in my opinion. I don't expect women to openly agree.
