Of course I am, everyone knows that. Also, have you never seen a trainer card ever? In some sets they are a huge deal, there are also trainer gallery cards where a Pokémon AND their trainer are on the card.

Yes, May from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is in Silver Tempest on the Blaziken cards. I’m pretty sure there is also a Red card from Sun and Moon. There are cards for some of the Elite Four members also from ORAS.

That girl you play as from the Sun and Moon games is also in Silver Tempest (Zeraora card). That other girl who has pig tails, her hair is brown, she wears a hat and her clothes are mostly gray and pink. I can send you the link for the card list if you want and see for yourself.

I just had a theory that maybe they didn’t use playable characters in the game, which would answer your question, but I guess not. Maybe simply because Ash is exclusively from the anime? If not, I’m out of guesses.

No it’s clearly just a skill issue at this point. Anyways, I just looked on Walmart. com and they’re selling Evolving Skies ETBs for normal prices instead of a throbbing $100. If you are a card collector you should take the opportunity to snatch one now before it goes back to being more overpriced than taxes in France right before the revolution.
