Have you ever played Stardew Valley?

I've never played it, but apparently, it's highly rated and I've heard it's supposed to be similar to Animal Crossing. I've played Animal Crossing before and it was cute, but I kind of got bored with it after a while.

It seems like the kind of game that would be better suited for PC playing, but I don't have a proper PC to play it on. So, if I get it, I'd have to get it for the Switch.

For those who play/have played this before: Does this game get boring after a while? What platform do/did you play it on?

I think it’s fun to play through once but it gets a bit boring after that, relaxing to play though. I haven’t played animal crossing but I think you might enjoy this more. I played it on pc

Animal crossing is way less boring! This game gets so boring but people play it like chess.
Thinking omg who will I play date over the corner of like 10 hours playing.

Watching on youtube is way more fun

I have it on Xbox, but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet. I may try it soon though. I actually forgot about it until seeing your question.

I recently tried it. Only for a few hours though. It seems like it could be good, but it would be very time consuming. There is a lot of stuff to unlock so that could be good if you have lots of free time and not many games. It is definitely a more calm game than what I am used to.
I think it fits well with the Switch because you could take it with you and play it in small amounts in-between doing other things in life. It is easy to save the game.
It is one of the games I would be able to play when I am sick though and can't focus/concentrate intently or react too quickly.

I love this game. I used to play it on my uncle's play station until he got a new one. If i could, i would still be playing it. Definitely recommend!
