How can you edit someone out of a picture?

I have some really nice pics I took on a vacation with my ex. There are some I'd like to keep because I love how I look in the pic and I really love the places/scenery. But I certainly don't want my ex in them still. Is there any possibility I can just remove the ex's face from these pics? I don't want to damage the entire pic. I'd like to just make it where it looks like it's only me in the picture.

I'd prefer free methods if at all possible. If I had to pay for something, I'd rather it not be much because I just want to do something quick and cheap to hopefully save the good memories from the trip excluding my ex.

I have tried some free apps, but they haven't really worked very well and they have made it hard to really remove the entire other person.

There’s a program called photoshop it was released in February 19th 1990.




It has evolved along with technology to now have apps for cell phones, the developer is Adobe.

Have you tried the built-in photoshop on most phones?

My photo editor on my phone doesn't really do a lot. About the only choice is to crop, which sometimes isn't possible without cutting out so of ME. I have seen before and afters where the other person was totally removed and it just looked like one person was wherever. That's what I want. I don't know if my phone would do that.
