Did TV shows you watched as a child influence your life as an adult?

Yes, I was exposed to adult shows and movies right out of the get-go, so I'm "ahead of the curve" when it comes to that than those my age. This also means not knowing of many kids shows/movies that others were watching, so I'm out of the loop on that.

I also think it led to me growing up faster and seeing things I shouldn't had, but it is what it is. I do not regret it either.

yes, sure thing... in most shows, "everything happened for a reason" and had a reason to be... so I do like to think ahead, and I also like to think back... about most things, lol

No, because we read books or played outside as children. My parents were decidedly against the raising-by-television laziness.

the tv show Emergency, I blame them.
We still watch it at the firehouse, "training films"

I certainly learned a lot from them and, at least in one case, I was influenced to be a nice and giving guy by none other than Jed Clampett.

There were probably more shows that influenced NOT to be a certain way, like Archie Bunker, Dick dastardly, Snidely Whiplash and Boris Badenoff.
