I haven't played for a long time, and I was never particularly good. I knew what to do, but didn't practice enough to be good. Playing 8-ball I once broke and ran out. Good players do this routinely.

I've been told I have an addictive personality. So if I take something on I take it on with crazy intensity. So when I started I was terrible but within a year I was really competitive in local tournies. 5:break and runnouts is the most I had in a row. But 2 or 3 in a row was common
