30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
As a Christian I believe that we automatically love ourselves. People who commit suicide don't hate themselves, but rather they just want the pain of life to go away.
Also there is different kinds of love.
I do love myself. I am on my side. But there are things about me that I don't like. For example, I don't like how my face looks. I don't like the fact that I'm no good at sports. I don't like my personality disorders. But I wish I that I would do good in this world.

I do now. Before, if someone asked, I would have dumbly said "yes." but couldn't do that because I didn't feel like i was worth loving. Until i found the problem of why I didn't... and now, i can appreciate waking up loving my best life now.
