It depends. If the future I see is set and I cannot change it no matter what I would rather not see it at all.

And since time traveling to the past from a certain perspective means I've actually seen the future I would take that.

But I wouldn't go changing any major life choices or anything.

I'd probably do what the guy did in back to the future and go win a lottery as a quick way to make money. Or even buy a lot of bitcoin right before the price surge.

Now that would assume that I can travel back to the future once I'm done since I would rather live in the 2020's over the 2000's and 2010's considering I already know how those years play out

I voted the past. This way I can get winning lottery numbers so, when I return to the "new" present, I'll be a zillionaire... AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE.

The past is not a place for someone like me to be. I can already see the future randomly in dream visions sometimes, and it's alright. So, I'd stick with seeing the future.
