Do you listen to music in other languages? If so , which songs do you love the most?
https://youtu.be/O9JJhOvae2k?feature=shared
yea i dont really care about the language. I have a lot of stuff in french (cos i'm part french), Spanish, italian, arabic, russian, korean, japanese, chinese, thai, greek, turkish, german, hindi, dutch, etc
for foreign songs my faves atm would be:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/HZnNt9nnEhwhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/3n8WiBNCZpYhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/HkG1m9sSojIhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/2UlASdejUZkhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/jv8bfgIYUyUWow I'm impressed. I like most of the languages you brought upšššš. I haven't tried :arabic, russian, chinese , thai, greek and dutch music just yet. I love French, I met a man when I was a boy he came to my country to study electrical engineering and he taught me some from French, a real gentleman that man. After he left to his home country I started listening to French music , my favorite singers are Zaho š and Indila ā¤ļø she has such a wonderful voice š . My favorite French rapper is La Fouine.
I guess I kinda do. I occasionally listen to reggaeton, not too tough, but a few songs here and there. And I also like reggae/dancehall, so maybe not a full-on foreign language but definitely a foreign dialect of Jamaican Patois.
Oh man, this song STILL goes SO hard. Canāt believe itās like 20 years old now, insaneā¦
https://www.youtube.com/embed/oAQ1FFWdDZEI think if I could learn to speak anything other than American English, itād have to be Jamaican Patois. Name me something that sounds cooler, Iāll waitā¦..ā±
You know, on second thoughtā¦. Chet Hanks walked so I couldā¦uhā¦turn it right the fuck aroundššš
ššš Wow , another soul. The energy that comes with that always seems genuine. In my country we have rastafarian people with the whole language going on , always entertained by them š. Would say one thing though, some songs about love over here is explicit , Bob is turning ššš.
I've always been a Rammstein fan but that's too easy an answer.
Mykur, Norwegian, has a majestic voice:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/p34EfZACzx8Eluveitie, Swiss, is excellent
https://www.youtube.com/embed/TkbadvaMuXoMy latest obsession, The Hu. Mongolian
https://www.youtube.com/embed/eb3ysMtu8t0Thank you for sharing. Eluveitie's song makes me think of a battle to takeover a kingdom or to defend oneāļø. Myrkur sounds great , truly great.
The occasional French song will pique my interest since it is a pretty language, but I care way more about a song's symbolic meaning than how it sounds. If I can't understand the words, I don't really engage with it.
I agree , I'd need to understand the words. I can't go along if I don't get along.

yes, a few...
I do listen to as much English and Spanish... and then, there's Italian, French, Catalá and German, these are the most...
and there will be a lot of different languages too, but it might be just one or a couple of songs, but not as many as the ones I mentioned above
I'm sure I've heard songs in French, Slovak, Polish, German, Russian, Chinese, India (both kinds), Japanese, Hawaiian, Welsh, African, Swedish, Turkish, Israeli, but I don't know that I have a fave in any of those except maybe a couple by Super Furry Animals. I guess these two would probably be my faves in Welsh. "PAN DDAW'R WAWR", "SARN HELEN".
I like old Polish rock, Rammstein and other Lindemann's projects, and many more... :D
Stuff like this:
Kaoma - Lambada (1989)
Deep Forest - Sweet Lullaby (Ambient Mix)
Stray Kids - Godās Menu
Ek moes jou gesoen het, ek moes jou gedoen het
Die liedjie is so mooi dit breek my hart šā¤ļøāš©¹
Yes, Italian, Japanese, and Norwegian mostly.
I listen to a fair bit of Black Metal in Norwegian. For example, Burzum:
