Since high school I’ve been into Japanese and Korean tracks. One of my all-time favorites is “Rain” by Taeyeon (Korean) – super moody, cinematic, feels like the soundtrack of an art film 🎬🌧️

In Spanish, I adore “Burbujas de Amor” by Juan Luis Guerra, it’s so poetic and romantic 💕

I used to have a Brazilian pen pal who would send me songs of black Portuguese rappers singing and rapping about different things. I loved the music but he told me the lyrics were very immoral, about drug dealing and sex and violence, but since I did not understand what they were singing about, I could enjoy the songs, guilt free.
