1A and 1B would be The Goonies and The Karate Kid. I always kind of rooted for Johnny and the Cobra Kai in Karate Kid, lmfao, I was like “I want to be in a badass karate gang when I get to high school and RUN SHIT”😂 I think because we’re both blonde I was rooting for him, plus Daniel LaRusso is kind of a dweeb. There was never any way to take that position without people looking at you sideways though…

I was so glad when Cobra Kai came around and fleshed out the full story, and you can at least sympathize with where Johnny’s head was at, he was fighting for the woman he loved, in however of a misguided teenage way…
