Mine was Matilda. As a child I thought Mara Wilson was cute, and as a grown up at 35 she still is very beautiful.

I’m a movie buff. Most movies are my comfort zone, including horror films. Some of my favorites were “The Wizard of Oz”, “The Hobbit” (original animated version”, and “A Christmas Story”. As a pre-cable child, these movies only came around about once a year. So it was a bit of a special occasion, each of them. I always scoured the TV guide that came with the Sunday paper to know in advance when those movies were coming. The whole family would usually gather around for “A Christmas Story” and “The Wizard of Oz”. “The Hobbit” was only my thing.
I think I had two. Back in 1968-1969, there was no such thing as MP4s, DVDs, and VHS tape players. I think I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey 2 times and Planet of the Apes 3 times from 1968 until I entered the USAF in 1976.
mines was free willy still have all three video tapes of them and dvd box se wich include number four didn't like number four fake whale in four and no jesse i had a huge crush o jesse more than any movie guy when i was young still watch them there also sad aswel
My comfort movie was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It still is, but I've also grown quite fond of Tangled.
I love tangled, my middle name is Eugene
@Beatrix7 Thank you! 💚
And I was like 2 or 3 when I got my Cabbage Patch Kid, so I'm pretty sure that was age-appropriate. Lol
@Beatrix7 Eh, I don't care!
@Beatrix7 Thanks! Haha

Omg Matilda 🤣 all I can think of is evil ms trunchble however you say her name and how she swung that little girl by her pigtails. I like this movie called Dennis the menace too and teen wolf. Micheal j fox is soo cute he's too old for me but it's in my parents movie collection
Grew up in the pre-streaming pre VHS era. Had to settle for movies that got repeated on one of four TV channels.
Blazing Saddles.
I loved watching Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
I was obsessed with winnie pooh, spiderman, freaky Friday, the princess diaries, movies like that.
Resident evil... I had a crush on Michelle Rodriguez, lol.
She was still my celebrity crush, up until recently, when I watched a movie where this guy was forced to get a sex change, and Michelle Rodriguez was "him" after the surgery and he was trying to track down the people who did that to him. Rodriguez actually did look like the guy, in a weird way... I don't know. It just kind of ruined it for me. 😂
Any disney movie. Lion king and pocahontas are my favorites.
Welcome. It's a good movie about a man who accidentally falls in love with mafia's sister and his whole family becomes a part of charade for that. In the end, they married. Good romantic comedy.
I was very young but first movie I watched over and over when it was on TV was Steve Martin in The Jerk. He's so sweet and lovable in that.
This might sound odd but I really liked the movie Blue Lagoon - the original. It would always help me visualize being on a hot tropical island.
Brooke Shields
@panamared1 yes
Herbie, the Love Bug series of movies from Walt Disney
I love Herbie the Love Bug.
Twins (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito). The great race 1965 (Tony Curtis, Natalie Wood and Jack Lemmon) and of course! The 1967 Jungle Book 😁. All on VHS
I liked Pippi Longstocking movie. I love to sing with her when I watch the movie and it brings back my childhood memories. The actress that play Pippi is still beautiful now and I think she is 39 or 40.

Matilda was good. I watched it twice and parts 3 times.
Not a movie. My first comfort tv show used to be "Stargate SG-1" for many years. But since 2015 my new comfort tv show became "Supergirl", mostly because of Melissa, not because of anything else.
The rocketeer. I wanted so bad to be a pilot, with a movie actress girlfriend, and fighting nazis while secretly working for the FBI.
Mrs doubtfire, jumanji, matilda, the little princess ( 1995)
mrs doubtfire and jumanji are some of my faves! robin williams was so awesome back in the 90’s
Same girl in Matilda was in Mrs Doubtfire

I still watch it and cry xD
Definitely the Spider-Man trilogy, and the Star Wars prequels.
Either Anne of Green Gables or The Princess Bride. :)
I liked Jurassic Park which I watched when I was around 6 years old.
I have no comfort movie I don't watch things more than once usually
I liked the Never Ending Story. Especially where the horse dies. It was great comedy.
I loved Mickey Mouse the Prince and the pauper
I'd also say Matilda or Cinderella.
Hotel for Dogs!
@h3ll02u
I liked that movie so much one summer I watched it and played it again. Memorized the whole movie
I don't feel like I had one. There were a few movies I liked, such as Twelve Angry Men, but they weren't on 24/7 like they are now.
I never had a "comfort movie.". I have always preferred variety in my art intake.
Lone ranger and Hop along Cassidy. And sometimes Bugs Bunny.
The Muppet Christmas Carol with Michael Caine.
Jurassic Park, Back to the Future 3, The Land Before Time, Robin Hood.
