I'm assuming this is in reference to the Tolkien universe, in which case it's elf, no contest. Hobbits in that setting are overwhelmingly fat hippie bums who walk around barefoot smoking weed.

Elf hands down. If we're talking about lord of the rings, they're so much cooler and usually know a lot of magic and are pretty in tune with nature. They're also extremely aesthetic.
