Well, I haven't seen a lot of George Clooney movies although I wish I had scene is live performance of "Fail Safe", a 1964 movie he and I both love.

I enjoyed the 2002 movie "Solaris" which bombed but was beautiful, in a way, with a lovely soundtrack, and with a very thought-provoking premise.
However, I must admit that I like "The Descendants". which was nominated for 5 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Actor for Clooney. (It won for Best Adapted Screenplay.) Clooney was very good in that film which involved a tricky character challenged on multiple fronts to internalize some rather raw emotions. Clooney is very good at that; in "Solaris", it was a bit like that too, but it was not so good a film.
But, even though it's not a movie, Clooney as Dr. Doug Ross in "E. R." is an excellent body of work. He created one of the greatest characters of all time and he, along with Juliana Margulies as Carol Hathaway are among the greatest all-time TV couples and this scene illustrates why. It is the ending of his last normal episode (*) in the series is Emmy-worthy. It does help if you have seen the previous few episodes and know the characters...
(*) "The Storm (Part Two)" (Season 5 Episode 15), first broadcast February 18th, 1999

Clooney would appear on the show twice more.
Once, at the end of the episode in which Carol left the hospital to be with Doug in the Seattle area. (Juliana left the show in that episode.)

And another in a cameo appearance in one of the final episodes of "E. R." in which Doug and Carol are married.

@beebella 🐝 As a red blooded heterosexual man I am going to refrain from answering this question. Someone mentioned he was in one of the Batman movies?
I've only watched Ocean 11, Ocean 12 and Ocean 13. The rest of his movies aren't my style; kinda boring
