A bit of a genius.. He may have been a drunk with dumb luck throughout the series, but he also had clever plans and he was good at getting a good read on people. That's why he was good at manipulative scheming, especially him being quick to learn the motivations of others.. In fact being drunk makes an even better case for him..

Agreed haha. A lot of people don't realize how much of a genius he was. If you rewatch it enough times, you pick up on a lot of the philosophical stuff he says too, which really make you think.

I agree with that. From what I've observed, intelligent people seem to handle their liquor better and even when they are "tipsy" or "drunk" they seem to be very in their right state of mind and less prone to being controlled by their emotions.

I think IQ tests should be based on everything honestly. Never thought the way IQ tests are really judge a person's intelligence properly.

Let's say you're testing a guy that was raised in the wilderness for 20 years. You gonna judge him based on math and language? You can't evaluate a person's intellect by what they know. It's how they process information and the rationality behind their thought process. There are so many factors to assess. What makes them tick, their personality type, etc.

I'm pretty sure AI is gonna help with a new IQ test in the near future and I can't wait for people to be properly assessed. I'm also curious about my own results 😂

Yeah, I think higher IQ people have certain similar patterns. Like they're generally better at adapting, learning, & understanding more complex problems in a more efficient & effective way than lower IQ people. And I like the view that we should place more importance on the entire brains output/the whole, rather than just focusing on specific areas/individual parts alone.

He's a genius. He appears an idiot cause he's drunk through pretty much the whole series. He's drunk through the whole series to drown out the pain and sorrows he's experienced in his travels.
