Thanks to all for participating. Most got it right. Though there's a myth that Al Gore invented the Internet, most agree that computer scientists Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn invented the communication protocols we use today and the system referred to as the Internet.

It definitely was not a 16 year old in Ohio.

All the others, as weird as they may sound, are all true.
