I’m always gonna choose Ari no matter who y'all put her against 😭😭 I’ve been an Ari stan for 10 years now, I’ll argue about her all day.

BUT even Ariana recently talked about how Mariah is her biggest vocal inspiration in her career, and that’s pretty obvious. Especiallyyy when you listen to Ari’s older music. It’s not just the vocals but also sonically. Her debut album ‘Yours Truly’ definitely gives those dreamy RnB Mariah vibes.

So Ariana wouldn’t be where she is today if it wasn’t for Mariah.

Mariah has lost her voice over the years but you put Mariah in her vocal prime against Ariana in her vocal prime, Mariah is gonna outsing her.
but I’m still voting Ari cause I like her discography and her career in general more than Mariah

I've never been a fan of "diva" style singing from anyone, but Mariah especially seemed to adopt not just the diva singing style, but the toxic diva attitude, and that has always turned me off in a big way.

Thus, I would pick Ariana, though I only really enjoy a handful of her songs. With Mariah, I want to stab my own ear drums.
