No, it shouldn't. I really don't get the idea that the game should be made in a way that everyone should be able to beat it.

They call it "accessibility" or some other bullshit. No one is supposed to be able to beat every single game.

This is participation medal/trophy junk in my opinion. Giving everyone a medal/trophy diminishes what it means to the people who actually won.

It does to me. I paid for it so I'm going to get my money's worth, even if I don't like the game and finishing it becomes a chore. I think the only game I didn't finish because I didn't like it was Watchdogs and it still haunts me.

If we're talking about not beating it because it was too difficult, I've never had that issue, I enjoy difficult games even if it takes awhile to beat it.

I don't judge other people for not beating a game tho. If you gave up on it because you just got bored and wanted to do something new, was too hard, or feel you already got your money's worth, more power to you.

It depends on how the game is structured. Some games are meant to be beaten, others are not, and what qualifies as beating the game will vary per genre.

Game breaking glitches are unacceptable, whereas high difficulty or endless replay value is not only fine, but appreciated.
