I'll name two, both starring Sir Anthony Hopkins. Near the end of The Remains of the Day, Hopkins' character is standing in the rain at night and waving goodbye to emma Thompson's character who he's loved for decades but never confessed it. She starts sobbing as she rides away on the back of a bus.
In 84 Charing Cross Road, Anne Bancroft starts sobbing when she gets the letter from Hopkins' wife letting her know that he has passed away before they could meet in person. They had corresponded for decades through the mail and were an ocean apart.
I cried at the end of Avengers Endgame when Tony Stark died.
As did I!
You're welcome!

Gotta be when Caine is killed at the end of Menace II Society. He wasn’t really always a good dude, but you got emotionally attached to him and you rooted for him. He almost made it out, but he got got on his last day before he moved away. Even sadder is his friend Sharif who WAS a good kid, and he just got caught up in some shit he had nothing to do with.
Still fucks me up 30 years later…
https://www.youtube.com/embed/6rT33JCeBOwNo scenes really make me sad, anymore.
I've seen so much death and murder in real life that seeing a death doesn't provoke a reaction from me. I'll say "damn, that sucks"
But if I said what I really thought, I'd say "yeah, I've seen 1,000 people die for real, and none of those people were acting. So this fake acting scene don't mean shit"
Understandable.
Oscar Schindler breaking down when he realises his lapel pin could have saved one more life at the end of "Schindler's List". Brilliant acting from Liam Neeson.
Never seen that one but I'll certainly put it on the list.
