I think for me it's my girl 🥲

I think for me it's my girl 🥲

Maybe The Impossible. Its my favorite Tom Holland film aside from “In the Heart of the Sea”. Its my favorite Naomi movie aside from “King Kong 2005”. Its my favorite Ewan Mcgregor movie. Its just amazing and you will cry at least once. Its based off a true story and you’ll feel every bone crack. I saw this film many many years ago but rewatch it almost yearly. This was certainly the worst Christmas for this family in the film

As for My Girl, i watched it a lot as a kid but it didn't really interest me. Made me hella scared of bees tho
I saw a movie on tv and a father really wanted kids so he drew a picture to himself that said “I love you daddy,” and then hid it in a safe place where it could not be damaged. I thought that was the saddest thing ever.
The Passion of the Christ, because of the depiction of Christ's Passion and Death, but also because of Mary's piercing and heartbreaking look at us at the end.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day..."I know now why you cry... but it's something I can never do."
And Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Because it's such a terrible movie.
There is a made-for-TV movie called "Brian's Song" that is occasionally shown... it was made decades ago, the resl-life story of Brian Piccolo, a football player who died very young from cancer. It's a sad story, and one of the few movies that made me cry. Yes, guys do cry.
everytime they called thag the saddest film and everytime i watched in elementary school where we were forced to see the film yearly and read the book yearly, i still didn't understand the sad part but ig thats just me

That and A Walk to Remember or The Green Mile
I think it was called Million Dollar Baby. It was a movie where Clint Eastwood was a boxing manager and he trained a girl boxer that ended up paralyzed. Too depressing.
That's the only one I can think of right now. Oh, and My Girl with the bees.
Terminator 2:Judgement day. Seeing the Cyberdyne Systems T-800 lower down into the molten metal to its destruction with a thumbs up to John Connor was very sad.
Hmm ill go with Les Miserables. Both the movie and the musical. Particularly the epilogue. It leaves me sad but still hopeful everytime. Especially when the rest of the people join in to sing. Goosebumps everytime! 😭
oh spoilers if you never saw this:
Bambi - The mother dying is too horribly sad for a child.
Though it also had Felina in it which was the only animated character I was attracted to in my life, back then as a kid. (My first movie crush even before Jane Russell).
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom when the Brachiosaurus was abandoned on the lava engulfed island. I was maybe 9 or 10 when it first came out but it actually made me cry a wee bit when we saw it in theaters.
I thought that movie was sad too, but that's because it's dreadful.
@BCRanger10 you don’t like it?
Logan.. it’s not really supposed to be a sad movie but I cried cause Wolverine is one of my favourite characters.
That's not how Wolverine actually died. In the comics, Magneto ripped his skeleton out of his body. Sorry im a comic book fan.
Ohh nice one.
@Mansearching Oh wow, I didn’t know that!
Yeah. Years ago they had a cartoon of X-men that went along with comics. The movies didn't follow, exactly for each.
The 11 episode Japanese drama, "1 Liter of Tears." That is followed closely by the two part Korean drama, "The Brightest Moment in Life." I cried so much in both dramas.
Million Dollar Baby has a soul crushing ending to it despite not being a sad movie, which is why I'll likely never rewatch it for a long time. It is a good movie, but jesus
And here I am crying over Grand Turino.
I think Terms of Endearment was the tearjerker of the time 1983. Then Ghost came out.
Oh my God that scene was soooooo sad!!! The saddest movies were Requiem for a Dream and Ciudade de Deus.
Dancer in the Dark is one hell of a grim movie.
I knew she could sing, but did not realize Björk could act till I saw that movie.
@LiamJHayden Yes and she is a good actress too.
The movie Hatchi about a dog his owner died before coming back home from work. The dog didn't understand what happened and waited for him to come home for 10 years. I cried 😢
No movie ever made me cry, I don't know which one will be sad enough.
Probably Schindler's list that movie is just depressing to watch also pretty grisly what makes it really sad is that it actually happened.

@DizzyDesii that's the one! Fell in love with the story when my grandmother read the book to me as a kid - one of few movies I'll watch at least once a year (&preferably alone with a hell of a lot of paper towels)
Lol i think i had to turn about 21 to stop watching it yearly. But i definitely have it on VHs and DVD plus it still plays on HBO on tv. I just love it
End of Watch, although it's quite hard to get me sad as it's so regular that provoking more sadness is nearly impossible for me
Thin Red Line
“A Dog’s Purpose”
Happy and sad all in one movie!
Saddest Movie and also the shortest for me was Hotarubi no moe. Watch it
